A powerful storm unleashed in the Bering Sea headed for the coast of Alaska in U.S. and Chukchi peninsula in Russia.
The Meteorological Service of the United States announced today and Thursday gales on the coast of the Chukchi Peninsula will reach 112 km / h. On the western coast of Alaska the maximum wind force is estimated at 88km / h.
U.S. meteorologists point out that the wave height can reach 6 feet in the Chukchi Sea and seven and a half meters in the Bering Sea.
