Open Question: which is better, sony or dell????

Which makes better laptops? which has better performance? built better? lasts longer? (I don't care about the price)- I just can't decide between two-I just want a laptop that will last for four years As, of right now I'm leaning towards the Sony because I don't hear a lot of good things about dell, and some of their computers seem cheaply made It's either....
