Open Question: Question about copying DVDs.?

The attorney I work for is doing a presentation on Ethics of Law at a seminar here in Dayton. he wants to use three movies (The Fortune Cookie, Inherit the Wind and To Kill a Mockingbird). What he wants to do is use five scenes from these movies to show the point he is trying to make. Is there a way to put the DVDs in my computer and copy the scenes I need to a separate recordable DVD so I won't have to keep changing the discs in the DVD player?
