Open Question: Facebook possible...?

Basically my mate had a virus on his facebook profile, so he had to make a new one. He added a few of my friends and so one time I stupidly clicked on his original profile and it came up with 'you've got a new friend added' which was the profile. so rightfully so i deleted it and now ever since the original profile has been spread onto my friends' profiles and into their friends' list..what should i do to get rid of it once and for all? Will my other friends know? is it only visible to my computer?-cheers.
